The SurfZone Company

When we took up surfing a few years ago, we lived three hours from the beach and couldn’t get out in the waves every day, or even every week. Frustration hit and we began spending a lot of winter evenings out in the garage. In the spring, we emerged with a unique surf trainer.

Suddenly, our time in the water was a lot more productive. Stoked, we showed our board, nicknamed the “SurfZone”, to some surfing friends who encouraged us to make more. The patenting and production process helped us to hone in on what was important to us, both in a product and in a business.

The SurfZone Company was born.

Our garage has now become a full-time workshop and this summer we are proudly launching the SurfZone balance trainer. A OBX Longboard  is in the works too, as well as SurfZone-friendly Board Wax.
